Megnajet, a UK-based company, was established in 2006 as a specialized manufacturer of ink supply systems for inkjet printing. Traditionally, ink supply systems for inkjet printing mainly used the so-called negative pressure control method. However, in recent years, various print head manufacturers have been developing circulation-type print heads as their main products to meet the increasing demand for high ejection performance and compatibility with a wide variety of inks. The circulation-type ink supply system is technically more complex than the conventional negative pressure type (non-circulation system), as it involves controlling the meniscus negative pressure at the print head nozzle in conjunction with circulation conditions. Megnajet's products are called the CIMS series, with the design concept of all models centered around small-volume ink supply systems.
